Online payment of infringements

This service is provided by our bank, Westpac New Zealand Limited, in agreement with the Ministry for Primary Industries. You do not have to be a Westpac customer to use this service.

Payment of the Ministry for Primary Industries infringement fee(s) can be made with Visa or MasterCard credit cards.

  • Only one infringement at a time can be paid.
  • In case of any issues or problems, please call (04) 8194621 or (09) 9098517.
  • The prescribed fee must be paid in one lump sum.
  • You should check with your card issuer for details about other fees or charges that may also apply as this credit card transaction is carried out in terms of the arrangement between you and your card issuer.
  • If payment is made using a credit card issued outside New Zealand, any currency conversion will be done according to the terms and conditions of the card - there may be currency conversion fees charged by your card issuer.
  • Transactions made after 10:30PM New Zealand time will be processed at the end of the next business day.

Acceptance
If you complete a transaction using this credit card service, you are deemed to have agreed to these terms and conditions. This payment service is provided by Westpac New Zealand Limited (Westpac) for the Ministry for Primary Industries.

Fees
Additional fees or charges may apply to this credit card transaction in accordance with your card issuer's terms and conditions. You should check with your card issuer for details before making payment. If payment is made using a credit card issued outside New Zealand, any currency conversion will be done according to the terms and conditions of the card - there may be currency conversion fees charged by your card issuer.

Payment made to the Ministry for Primary Industries
The Ministry for Primary Industries will receive only the transaction data, which enables payment to be made against your infringement fee and will not receive any of your credit card information. If your payment is not successfully processed due to credit card or other issues, your payment liability to the Ministry for Primary Industries will remain outstanding. If your payment liability to the Ministry for Primary Industries continues to remain outstanding you may be subject to additional costs. The prescribed fee must be paid in one lump sum.

Payment unable to change
You must check all information is correct before you confirm the transaction; you will be unable to change it once it has been submitted.

Privacy
All personal information you enter into this website is collected by Westpac to enable your payment to be transferred to the Ministry for Primary Industries. It will be held securely by Westpac as a record of the transaction and may be used for statistical purposes. You may, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1993, request access to, and correction of all personal information held by Westpac by contacting Westpac's privacy officer.
